Shake off the 2020 blues and win a huge Christmas haul for you and your family to enjoy thanks to Solihull BID.
The Business Improvement District for the town centre are giving one incredibly lucky person the chance to take home a host of festive goodies sourced from local businesses.
Inside their magical Christmas window – located on Drury Arcade in Mell Square, near to the entrance to House of Fraser – is everything you need to enjoy a luxurious Yuletide.
If you’re in the town centre to pick up essentials or enjoying a winter walk, take a look down Drury Arcade to see the festive display in all its glory.
To win the goodies, all you have to do is guess the total value of everything inside the window and enter your guess on the Solihull BID website – solihullbid.co.uk/winchristmas.
The person who guesses the closest amount wins absolutely everything – the perfect way to end a difficult year.
Melanie Palmer, Chief Executive of Solihull BID, said: “This wonderful window of magic is what we all need to lift our spirits in this tough year. Thanks to the generosity of our businesses, the prizes are amazing and even include a free year’s car parking pass!
“We thank Mell Square for their kind sponsorship in bringing the town centre together in this fun competition.
“I know we are all watching and waiting to see what the next steps are for us all, so please check out our website for updates on this and what’s happening here in the heart of Solihull town centre. Shop local and support Solihull.”
The competition runs from November 21st until January 4th, 2021 and the winner will receive prizes from businesses such as Mell Square, Touchwood, John Lewis & Partners, Le Creuset, Joules, F Hinds, and Green’s.
Items have been sourced from 24 town centre companies with the competition made possible thanks to the generous donation of some of the prizes alongside sponsorship from Mell Square.
While in the heart of Solihull town centre, you’ll also spot the BID’s Christmas tree, taking residence just outside Vita in Mell Square. The tree is ideal for a festive photo but do remember that only one household or bubble is allowed under the tree at one time.
Laced with community spirit, kindness, and warmth, sprinkled with cinnamon, and topped with a bit of Solihull magic, make this the best Christmas yet!
